MY BACKGROUND
My formal professional experience is as an educator. I spent 22 years as a teacher, administrator, and principal. My dad was very mechanical and my memories of him are mostly centered around fixing things. In high school I took three years of woodshop taught by Palmer Sharpless, a Master Craftsman in Bucks Co., PA. Under his guidance, I built a 17' canoe from wood and fiberglass. Almost forty-five years later, I still use the canoe to fish in the Poconos.

Today I live with my wonderful wife, Diane Baker, who owns Majoda Stables in Moorestown. We have 21 horses so there are always many jobs for a handyman. I like to say, "the horses break 'em and I fix 'em". The highlight of each week is when I teach riding to individuals with special needs.

Bill designed and built a tree house for our family that all of the kids in the neighborhood run to as soon as they get off the school bus. The structure is securely constructed of new and re-purposed items (a slide, a zip-line, and a first level platform, at our request). There will be many positive life moments made on the tree house, but the greatest may be that Bill invited my 10 year old son to help in the construction of it. This gave my son the lifelong skill of how to swing a hammer, use a level, and plan a build. My son takes great pride and ownership in the house in the tree that he helped build. Thank you Bill
